Air Valve & Controller Answers
What is a venturi valve and how does it work?
A venturi valve regulates airflow precisely and pressure-independently. A spring-loaded cone inside the valve body moves to maintain the exact air volume set by the controller — even when duct pressure fluctuates. That makes it the standard choice for isolation rooms, operating theatres and laboratories.
What is the FMS-1650 isolation room controller?
The FMS-1650 is Triatek's isolation room controller. It continuously monitors room pressure differential, temperature and air changes per hour, and drives venturi valves to keep the room at its critical setpoint — with full alarm and monitoring integration.
How often should air valves be calibrated?
Critical environment practice recommends verification at least once a year. Isolation rooms in heavy use, or facilities that have undergone HVAC changes, may need recalibration more frequently to keep pressure readings trustworthy.
Do you supply genuine Triatek parts and spares?
Yes. AVVS is a Triatek-certified specialist — we supply genuine venturi valves, FMS-1650 controllers, monitors and spare parts, with certified installation and calibration.
What is the lead time for venturi valve supply?
Lead time depends on specification and quantity. We quote exact delivery dates per project and support fast-track requests for critical facilities, with worldwide shipping from certified stock.
